  • 2016 Bigs of the Year Award Recipients Announced
  • Big Brothers Big Sisters of Atlantic and Cape May Counties would like to announce our annual “Bigs of the Year Award” recipients.

This year’s Big Sister of the Year Award goes to Nicolette Carty, of the Villas, NJ. Nicolette started as a Little Sister in our program in 2007 at 10 years old. She loved the experience so much, that when she entered High School, she decided to be a Big Sister in our school based program. She was matched with Little Sister Destiny, and the two eventually moved into the Community Based program in 2014 after Nicolette graduated High School.

This year’s Big Brother of the Year Award goes to Eric Reich of Marmora, NJ. Eric was matched with Little Brother Seamus in 2010 when Seamus was just 10 years old. Seamus, now a junior in high school, has come to see Eric as a part of his family. Shortly after being matched with Seamus, Eric joined the Big Brothers Big Sisters Board of Director, where he serves as Board Chair today.
