like to announce Kevin and Donna Hare of Mays Landing, NJ, as our “Bigs of the
The criteria for being “Bigs” of the year include exemplary
performance as a Big Brother or Big Sisters, as well as being a public advocate
for the agency, and demonstrating positive impact and outcomes in the
development of their “Little”.
Kevin and Donna met and exceeded the criteria. They have been
matched as a couples match with Little Brother Carlos since 2007. Carlos lives
with his grandmother, Carmen, and two other siblings in Hammonton, NJ. His
grandmother felt he could benefit from having a few extra people in his life to
look up to in the absence of his parents. Since the start of their match the
Hares, and Carlos’ family, have developed an enduring bond built on mutual
respect, love, and admiration.
